All Burch Egg Coolers, when specified, are manufactured with the heater built into the cooler. Set the Egg Cooler in place, plug it in and the automatic heating unit will warm your egg room to the temperature you select.

The TWO STAGE thermostat control prohibits the Egg Cooler to heat and cool simultaneously. It is set with an overall six degree differential. If the temperature changes more than 3 degrees in either direction, the heater or cooling unit automatically turns on bringing the temperature back to its original setting.

A separate kit is available for non-heating coolers. Each kit is sold with a two-stage thermostat control, for heating and cooling, and all necessary hardware and installation instructions.
