Maintenance of your Burch Cooler
*Always have power supply disconnected during the cleaning process.*
Instructions for cleaning the coils on Burch Cooler Units.
Remove right side and evaporator top (inside the egg room). The other side will hold the low side fan motor in place while cleaning the unit.
Use liquid coil cleaner for cleaning both the condenser & evaporator coils. Coil cleaner can be purchased at a local refrigeration supply house. If not available, use a soft brush and hot or cold soapy water to clean. Flush clean with hose. Air pressure is beneficial for the cleaning process.
- IMPORTANT - DO NOT USE CLOROX, CHLORINE, OR BLEACH TO CLEAN YOUR COOLER. THESE PRODUCTS WILL DESTROY THE FINS ON THE COILS. USE A NON-ACIDIC DISH DETERGENT TO CLEAN THE COOLER.
Any water left on parts should be blown off or wiped off with a clean dry cloth. It is important to reassemble the cooler completely before starting.
